Our red currants

Red currants are recognized for their distinctive sweet-and-tart flavor, intense color, and high content of vitamin C and antioxidants, which makes them highly valued in nutrition.

Refreshing berries full of health

Thanks to careful cultivation and optimal climatic conditions in Serbia, red currants are characterized by rich nutritional properties, juiciness, and freshness, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for processing into juices, jams, and desserts. The red currant plantation covers 1 hectare and includes the varieties Rovada, Red Poll, Rolan, and Stanza. The first commercial red currant harvest was expected in 2020.

Rovada

The Rovada variety is known for its exceptionally large berries that form big and attractive clusters. It is characterized by high yields and excellent resistance, making it suitable for professional cultivation. Due to its juicy fruit and rich flavor, it is especially valued for processing into juices and jams.

Red Poll

Red Poll stands out for its earlier ripening, stable and high yields, as well as its attractive color and uniform fruit size. It is particularly valued for its pronounced sweetness and balanced acidity, making it excellent for fresh consumption. The fruits of this variety tolerate transport and storage very well.

Rolan

The Rolan variety is popular thanks to its uniform fruit size, rich juiciness, and very well-balanced flavor. It is characterized by stable and reliable yields, as well as good resistance to diseases and pests. Due to its high juice content and pleasant taste, it is ideal both for fresh consumption and for processing.

Stanza

The Stanza variety is recognizable for the attractive appearance of its clusters and medium-sized fruits with an intense color and aroma. It is characterized by high resistance to unfavorable climatic conditions, ensuring reliable yields even in more challenging conditions.
